Eating disorder safehouse in South Africa

After initial treatment, how does one live in harmony with their eating disorder? Here, at The Grange Living, we introduce the client back into some semblance of normality. The Grange Living offers a living space for people who are on the road to eating disorder recovery and an independent life. We help ease the changover by allowing the individual to acquire necessary skills to function outside the care of a clinical environment or treatment facility

We provide the skills and emotional regulation necessary to succeed by practice and with patience. We have a small community of 10-12 clients, nurturing their individual needs so that recovery becomes a reality. Because this is an individualized program, one could spend up to a year in our homely environment.

Welcome to Kenilworth

Our program combines therapies that address both emotional and practical aspects of recovery, offering personalized support that meets each client’s unique needs. With individual counseling, group therapy, and a tailor-made plan for everyone, we focus on essential life skills like cooking, shopping, and socializing in a warm, supportive community. While our primary focus is on women from their late teens to middle age, we warmly welcome men, too, as we recognize the growing impact of eating disorders across all demographics.

Our core values

Since each journey is different, clients may stay up to a year in this homelike setting, building confidence and independence at their own pace.
